Qualifications to meet
To qualify for the real estate certification in Arizona, candidates must be US residents and at least 18 years of age. You must complete a Disciplinary Actions Disclosure, pass a background check and get your fingerprints taken. The Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) issues fingerprint cards.
Complete prelicensing education course (96 hours)
Candidates must log at least 90-hours of pre-licensing coursework from an accredited real estate school in Arizona. Accredited schools can be verified on the Arizona Department of Real Estate (ADRE) website.
Most of these courses are available in online formats, but live classroom experiences are also available. Costs can range between $400-600.
Take the 6-Hour Contract Writing Course
Real estate agents are expected to gain proficiency in how to write contracts for use in real estate transactions. These courses include information on the various transactions used as well as practical examples in completing contracts.
Pass the Arizona Real Estate Licensing Exam
